Default GiG Bags & New RS Parlor!

Hi don't own one yet but would like to know if anyone has a Rainsong Parlor and has found a nice gig bag for it with tight fit?? If I decide on one I have no use for the heavy hard cases they come in other than shipping. Looking for something of good quality with extra pockets and backpack straps...... The Blackbird I had came with a very nice bag made the whole package a few pounds which was really nice. Hate these 18 pound hard-shells, can't understand why RS doesn't have one available.

At one point Rainsong was offering a less expensive Parlor and it came with this gig bag which fit very well:

Gator Pro Go series. I bought one for my Rainsong APLE (basically a shorty) which fits it well, is very heavy duty and has all the pockets you could ask for and great straps. There is a removable bottom cushion that would make it fit a parlor. I use if for all my guitars when I take them out to open mics. Much better than the hard cases.

I did a full review with photos here:

I have the bag Mitch mentioned. Boulder Alpine. It's a great fit for my Rainsong Parlor P12.

Boulder Alpine size 0 case fits perfect. It's what I have my Larrivee Parlor in, which is almost the exact same size as the P12 parlor.

Thanks again all, I am going to order one up, yesterday I realized even my beloved OO's at this time in recovery are just a bit to large in the bottom so I made a decision and called Ted & Helene yesterday, purchased the new Parlor Concert in Tobacco Burst that had just come in from Rainsong.
I would like to get a larger guitar in CF in the future after I get fully recovered but right now I think the Parlor is going to be perfect.
I had the APSE and I loved the tone of the full carbon body it had and when I saw this one on Ted's site yesterday it really caught my eye! I don't usually go for the glitz but this guitar in the burst and no electronics I think looks beautiful.
It is still up on Ted's site sure is pretty, can't wait to get it! Jerry

When looking for a bag for my parlor 12 fret I considered the various bags mentioned. One forum member suggested Access which carries three levels of bag. Because I do very little travel with my RS I ordered the cheapest bag and have been quite surprised at its quality. The access site does a very nice job of spelling out the dimensions and so my bag is a perfect fit.

Another vote for the Boulder Alpine. Works great for my Rainsong parlor.
