Default Lindy Fralin Vintage Hot loaded Stratocaster pickguard (SOLD)

Lindy Fralin Vintage Hot Pickup set for Fender Stratocaster

These pickups are about 5 years old. I only used them for about six months and then installed the OEM pickguard when I sold my Strat. These really blew away the stock noiseless pickups in my American Deluxe. They are installed in a 3 ply bwb 11 hole pickguard with blender wiring (see below).I will also include a brand new output jack.

Set of three position calibrated pickups (one bridge, one middle, one neck). Hotter than stock output balanced output with beautiful vintage tone! No more measuring and swapping pickups around to put 'the hot one' in the bridge where it belongs. If you're looking for sound of a great late '50s-early '60s Strat with a bit more output this is the Fralin Pickups set for you. Construction features include period authentic orange Formvar magnet wire, late '50s style hand beveled staggered Alnico V magnets, black fibreboard coil forms, wax potting to reduce microphonics and cloth covered output leads. Approximate ohm readings bridge 6.6K, middle 6K, neck 6K. Lindy's custom made pickup covers and good mounting hardware is included.

This set is wired with a blender. The bottom pot blends in the neck pickup when the 5-way is in position 1 or 2. It has no function in position 3. In 4 or 5, it blends in the bridge pickup. If you leave the blender off, the 5-way switch works just like a standard Strat. This blender configuration gives you a lot more tone options, including all three pickups on, which is not possible with standard wiring.

Hybrid stagger with a Base Plate installed in the bridge position which will give you 10% more bass without affecting the mids or highs.

Fralin Pickups are proudly handmade in Richmond, Virginia.

The pickups alone (without the base plate) are $250. SOLD
