Default NGD: Tahoe Guitar Co 00-12 (Sinker Mahogany/Carpathian)

Today I took delivery of my new Tahoe Guitar Co. 00-12 shortscale in sinker Honduran Mahogany and Carpathian Spruce! I have it home, and will begin the process of playing it in. It sounds great out of the gate.

Thanks to Larry Nair of Tahoe Guitar Co. for building another fine guitar. I must also thank him for his kindness, generosity, and patience, allowing access to and sharing the of his process.

Back/Sides: Sinker Honduran Mahogany
Top: Carpathian Spruce
Neck: Flamed Bigleaf Maple/Walnut/Hard Maple
Binding: Indian Rosewood (body) and Ebony (neck)
Bridge/Fretboard: Macassar Ebony
Rosette: African Blackwood
Tuners: Gotoh 510

Nut: 1 3/4"
Saddle: 2 1/4"
Scale: 24.9"

Larry is a small, relatively unknown builder. IMO he builds really nice guitars in his small, one-man shop.
