Default ok..rainsong parlor in, and my buddies OM

Report on guitars after arrival and a few days of playing.

My friend and I took delivery of a concert series OM and a concert series parlor, both 12 fret.

first my parlor. got it for a boat and travel guitar. I think it will be great for both. Just got the Saga Boulder Alpine gig bag today and it fits like a glove. Had a k&K pickup installed a couple days ago and it sounds wonderful. I mostly play without a pick and it sounds really quite great...clear and fairly rich. With a pick it sounds a little shallow compared with my better guitars. But not bad. The neck is very comfortable and overall the instrument is easy to play. all in all, very happy.

My friends concert OM sounds a notch better. it may be in that "special" category. To my ear a notch lower than my 000-28EC or 00-17 but that's still quite good.

Both look fantastic.

Might change the tuners. The neck just seems heavy. I think I'll post a separate thread on that topic and see what comes up.

All in all very happy.
