Default Mesa/Boogie F-30

Hello,

I'm thinking about getting this amp for my Strat. Any one have this amp? I LOVE the tone, but I just want to hear some opinions out there....

Thanks~

David.

Never played the F-30 but have had my share of time behind old mark III boogies and rectumfriers! Mesa Boogie does not and can not build a bad amp in MHO

If it says Mesa Boogie on the front of it - I don't think you can go wrong

I'm just about to get an F-50 myself. I demo'd one at a store a couple months ago, and it was diffenately the nicest tube amp I'd tried for the money. I don't know how it sounds with a strat, because I was using my PRS singlecut. I'm sure it'll sound awesome.. I mean it's a MESA! lol.

I used to own an F-50. IMO, the F-series Mesa amps have the best "clean" tone of any other model. And, with the click of a switch, you're back to crazy Mesa overdrive.

You get a lot of amp for the money... thats for sure.

How much does a F-30 run??, Mesa makes some of the best stuff IMHO so I might have to check them out.

The Mesa F 30 is a fine amp, but you might want to play your strat through a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe or Blues Jr. You can hear more about Fender amps on the Fender Forum. Owners of PRS guitars seem to like Mesa amps and discuss them on the PRS guitar forum, which just moved...I think its now called the PRS Gear Page. For me? I have the HRDlx and Bjr...Smile when you play that mister.....
