Default Got a Charmed Life Pick today

Got a .75mm thick pick from Scott and Charmed Life today. Very impressed with the personal touches and the pick. It was tested on an HD28 before shipping. I doubt they can keep that personal testing of every pick as they grow, but it's a great way to start. Same material as Blue Chip and I can't tell any difference between the 2. I love the BC's so this is a great option for less cost.
Thanks Scott for the emails and communications, I'm looking forward to the large triple points....

I have talked to Scott about his picks, and it sounds like he has some great options in the pipeline. I am also looking forward to the large triangles.

I can't thank you enough for all the support, Keith. Tell Terry I'll have his 1.25 mm on the road to him this week, possibly tomorrow.

Keith, I just scored the material for the large Tris yesterday and it will be arriving this week. Those are on the docket for 30-60 days out, sooner if the prototypes and testing go well.

I'm also partnering with some incredible fabricators here on the West Coast to make our picks as awesome -- or more awesome -- than anything currently on the market.

Thanks again, my friend!

Hi Scott,

Your picks look great! I know first-hand that the material is only the first - and a small - part of making a great sounding and feeling pick. It looks like you've done a great job with the design, shaping and finish, which is just as important.

Well done in bringing them to market, and I wish you all the best!

Cheers,
David

David, thanks. We've worked like the Dickens to get it right. Really appreciate the props. After two years of research and planning, looks like we hit the nail on the head. Whew, what a relief.

We're using a combination of CNC cutting and hand finishing right now, but we've found some terrific fabricators in our backyard and plan on being fully automated within, say, six months (or sooner, we hope). Even the cost, the material is close to nightmare to fabricate.

Thanks again, David. We're so grateful for all the support we've gotten from the Forum and Sponsors, including you.

Be Well, My Friend,
Scott Memmer

Guit, for more info on pricing and availability, please click on the link, below, to take you to our ad in the AGF Marketplace.

Folks, if I may add, we've built a business model where every order comes with free shipping, all the time, every day. No more nonsense of paying for a premium product and getting dinged $4.50 for freight. Don't you hate that?

I just received one of Scott's flat picks (Charmed Life Guitar Picks) today, a 1.25mm version. I had just changed strings on my old 1967 Martin D-35 (John Pearse PB light) and I had just played a song with my Wegen Bluegrass (1.4mm) when my wife brought me the mail that had Scott's new 1.25mm pick in the package.

My wife sat opposite me while I tried Scott's new pick out and we both said, "Wow!" She said, "You need to get another one of those so that you have more than one!"

So here's another thumbs up for Scott's flat picks!

I have one coming, from everything I read, I'll be more than pleased. If the picks are half as good as Scott, we have a real winner. Nice to see a business bloom right here on the AGF.
