Default Just bought Rainsong P12

New to AGF. Looks like a great site.

I just bought a Rainsong P12 and am anxiously awaiting it's arrival.

Congrats! IMHO the best CF guitar out there. Factory set up is typical of most so play her a bit and then get her to a good tech. The sound improvement was significant with my set up and it's already a fantastic sounding guitar as it is!!!

Lisa knows what she's talking about.

I have a Shorty, and I love it. Very similar to the Parlor. It's the best sounding CF guitar I've played, and I've played most of them.

Congrats Parlorman! The P12 is fantastic, it can go from sofa to stage, and everywhere in between without skipping a beat. Here is Pierre playing my personal P12.

Rainsong has a very precise consistent neck. I think many just sand the saddle a little lower. Doubt you'll ever take the truss rod cover off.

I've heard that about them. I'm really looking forward to it. Fed Ex says it will be here Thursday. If it lives up to expectations I won't be tempted to take my old wood to play around the campfire again.

Love the tubing picture Ted. We'll have to get the P12 out behind the Ski Nautique next summer!

Well done Parlorman! My P12 has crossed the US a dozen times, one of the best guitar purchases I made. Hope it brings you many happy years.

Road trips are one of the reasons I was interested in a CF in the first place. We do a lot of driving trips and I often go without a guitar out of concern for temperature, humidity, etc. in the back of a car.

Congratulations! I hope you enjoy yours as much as I love mine.
FWIW, my P12 was set up perfectly straight from the factory.

Got the P12 on Thursday. I'm pretty impressed with the Rainsong. It will never replace my old wood, but it's pretty well balanced, has good volume when pushed and is comfortable to play. It has a built-in pickup with EQ and tuner and is quite comfortable to play. The saddle is a little high for my tastes, but I can fix that in short order.

My musician son says it's sounds very new age and he prefers my vintage stuff but he gets why I bought it.
