Until recently, I had an OM Studio model with a hybrid top.
Compared to other Rainsongs I've heard or played, I think the glass/carbon mix imparts a "woodier" tone - sort of tames a bit of the crystalline qualities without diminishing the best part of that.
You should like your hybrid.

I like mine. I am not enough of a guitar player to give you an educated review though, all I know is it is really loud, and somewhat bassy, both of which work well for me.

I like that it has a truss rod, I gave it a 1/4 turn when I changed strings.

Curious how you like yours once it comes in. :-)

thanks, yes, having a truss rod is certainly good as I am pretty picky about relief. I am beyond excited to get this, living in the northeast, I can finally keep an acoustic out on a stand.

My favorite. (when I'm holding it)

I have the hybrid; I bought mine new from Guitar Center. I had to order it as no store around here carries a CF. I love mine. My Rainsong is the only CF guitar I've played so I can't judge it but I'm more than satisfied.

I really like my H-WS. Other people - both players and casual listeners - also like it. You picked a good one.
