Yeah, I've been following the development of the El Capitan. I'm interested in ekoa as a guitar building material, but I'm a cutaway guy and images I've seen of the headstock, well, it's design is not to my taste.

The guitar sounds good in that player's hands. He plays well. I don't like his tapping though. His basic use of it does nothing for the piece he played.

I also don't care for that style, but more importantly the guitar sounds more like an Emerald than the Blackbirds I've played at LA Guitar Sales. Lets hope the video doesn't represent the actual tone. Very disappointing.
