Rohrtech titanium strings
I'm interested in the "low tension" nickle strings they offer
Anyone had an experience with these? http://www.rohrtech.com/

Rohrtech strings
I put them on a Rainsong LA2 and they warmed up the guitar quite a bit. I played it for Ted and he told me that he thought they improved the tone of the guitar.
I put them on a Rainsong Parlor and didn't like them although the person I sold it to said he did. I have had them on a CA OX for going on three years, am not very conscientious about wiping them down, and they still sound pretty good. |

Thanks, I'm thinking about trying them on my Blackbird, I currently use silk & bronze strings, 11s.
I like a warmer sound, how do you think they will compare to these type of strings?

My guess is that they would be warmer, project a bit more, but be a bit stiffer. You will notice when tuning that they seem "stretchy". If it takes about a half turn of your tuning peg to go up a half step with your regular strings it will probably take about three quarters of a turn with the titanium strings. I

Thanks, I've sent an email as the website doesn't work for me. I've learnt from other threads that I should be patient in receiving a reply and the strings. But it seems they are worth a try for my tastes.
