Default Make a feedback buster from scrap soundhole cutouts...

Just a few more that I've made, these two were actual converted soundhole cutouts direct from the manufacturer.

This one is a matching half koa/mango in the signature KoAloha "musubi" shape:

Wanted to share this, if your sound hole is cutout using a laser, the fit is so perfect that you don't need the rubber lining. KoAloha Ukulele uses laser for their cuts and I just used "office supply" double-stick cellophane tape wrapped around the cutout to hold it in place.

Here's a shot of a custom special issue tenor the guys at KoAloha built for me. They use laser technology for their fretboard inlay work and it is amazing.

Dislaimer: Per AGF rules I must disclose that I am a KoAloha Ukulele supported artist.

Joe, I want to try this. Thank you! Did you have to sand the sounhole cutout perimeter at all? And how did you attach the weather stripping... Glue?

Yes, if you're using the rubber lining, you might have to sand it a little bit.

The lining has double stick mounting tape on it, so I just fastened it to the cutout with that. I do recommend to glue two cutouts together if you have them...it'll make for a better fit.
