Default NGD - Santa Cruz 00 1929, "The Tree"

This is not just a pretty face. Clarity, full sonic spectrum, volume. This baby not only responds to a light finger-sylye touch but I can dig in and do my percussive partial capo stuff as well. I always have wanted to try an ALL TREE mahogany guitar but had lots of fears about the dense nature of The Tree making the top sort of dead. This is not dead, it is not the mid-rangey "mellow" mahogany topped hog sound many expect. Hope to post some sound files next month. Richard wanted to keep it for some beauty shots another two weeks or so…sigh. I spent an hour in the shop with it.

Jay,
Wonderfully beautiful, and I'm glad the tone and responsiveness turned out so well.

Richard didn't have any worries and the build exceeded his expectations. It was a leap of faith for me. People worry about committing to something they haven't played. I've have been exceptionally blessed with the hands of exceptional builders.

Thanks Chuck.
