Here's a comparison video done several months ago (I think it's a pre-production model, so take with a grain of salt):

WS1105 doesn't have the volume, and it sounds a bit milky compared to the previous model. Sort of an Ovation sound. (that could be the less volume factor)
Also I got away from the offset sound holes some time back because my finger picks would make contact noise on the top.

I wouldn't choose the WS1105 over previous.

Just my opinion

That "burst" sure doesn't appeal to me. It looks very much like a triangular-shaped stencil, with straight edges which don't even follow, obviously, the shape of the body, which I think burst finishes have traditionally done. I like the idea but it doesn't look like they put a lot of thought into it. Don't mean to change the subject though; the offset is a cool idea. Other colors available, I'd hope?

Can't unsee...

I generally like bursts but wondered why this didn't do it for me. I think you nailed it.

I don't see how "This guitar is especially well suited for alternate tunings" with a 24.9 scale length. Unless by alternate, they just meant a step. Most people doing alternate tunings these days want at least 25.5 if not more... or fan fret with a 27 in the bass.

Nothing wrong with it, looks nice, 24.9 would be very nice for standard tunings. Just a marketing goof up I think.
