Exclamation For Sale: Taylor Rosewood/Cedar Grand Symphony

Flat out amazing guitar! 2006 Taylor GSRC (Currently, Taylor has named the model GS 7, or a 716 would also describe the guitar). Every GS I've had had wood quality that exceeded their numbered counter parts... this one is no exception. The rosewood is deep with personality and the cedar has very cool character, as well-- looking a bit bear clawish in spots. Action on the guitar is perfect. Tone is much much better than any newer guitar-- has opened up and aged how you'd hope a guitar would age. Overall, just a fantastic instrument. Holds up to heavy strumming well, but is also very responsive to finger picking. Very versatile instrument.

I'm pricing it extremely low because it developed 3 finish checks/cracks during recent shipping (cold). They are surface level and thus not structural. They are very fine and not naturally eye drawing, upon first glance. I took pictures with a ruler to better help the see-er understand the condition with accuracy. Take advantage of a price you won't find elsewhere on a guitar this amazing! $999 (plus shipping/paypal- if necessary). Call, email or text Pete 971-237-1631 [email protected]

Baffled that this hasn't sold yet. Guess it's one of those hidden treasures. Someone is going to get a steal!

Don't really have the money or space for another guitar but I'm surprised this hasnt been snatched up at this price! If I had any way to justify this I would be all over it... I imagine it sounds like my old 714 which is one of the few that still stands out in my mind as a guitar I miss... Best of luck with the sale and if someone is on the fence you should get it! Finish cracks are an easy fix with some superglue and a razor.

Hey Pete
Any pics of the back?
And the cracks are only in the clear coat finish and not into the wood correct?
thanks

For that price...deserves a bump up.

Unfortunately, i've got competing (expensive) priorities!

Otherwise...

Cracks are only in the finish. I'll get some more pix of back-- very nice looking, high grade rosewood.
