Default Any Emerald Guitars in Florida?

I am looking to acquire a low-maintenance guitar that is relatively affordable and good for traveling -- hence, my desire to try out an Emerald X7, X7-OS, or T8. The Rainsong Parlor looks ideal but quite a bit outside my price range. I was wondering if there is anyone within a reasonable distance (a couple hours or so) from New Smyrna Beach that wouldn't mind me stopping by for 30 minutes or so to check out their guitar. You can post in this thread or email me at [email protected]

Thanks!!!

Hello Simoon Le'Fey... I checked on the dealer page on Emeralds website and there is a guy on Hallandale Beach in Florida...I don't know how far that is from you though...You might want to call him to see what he has in stock...Good luck on your quest!!!

You can also think used on the Rainsong Parlor, carbons are a great bet used especially Rainsongs, cause of they don't make a bad one and they don't change.

Hi Simon, here you have the information about the Emerald's dealer in Florida

Brett Sagenkahn
Hallandale Beach
Florida
(954) 205-2417
[email protected]

https://www.facebook.com/brett.sagenkahn

from what i see on their facebook, it seems that they have some of the travel models available there. it looks like Brett is a quite friendly guy and uses to organize events frequently.

i think that Bret was the one that ordered the custom T8 lefty 12 strings for a customer last year

Thanks guys, it looks like Brett is in Hallandale -- that's about an 8 hour round trip -- a bit too far. I'll keep looking.

Simon,

Hallandale is about 10 minutes S. of Ft. Lauderdale. Daytona is about 3 hours 40 minutes hours north of Hallandale.
A full day trip at the least.

Where is that teleporter when you need it??? Keep us informed on your quest Simon...You might have to do what I did though...Ordered my Emerald X-20OS through the Internet blind,(without playing), and was stunned by the results!!!
Perhaps it would be cheaper to "try one out" for a week or two through one of Michaels road trips? That way you just have to pay for postage...

Simon,

Maybe reach out to Alistair Hay (Emerald) and ask him if he has any current customers in your neck of the woods. I have done that (asked about someone local to me), and his is going to sync me up with a customer who has an artisan model about to be delivered. Sounds like the customer is fine with this....makes sense as he gets to show off his new CF gem! Maybe something similar can work out for you.

Robert

Hi Robert,
That is great advice -- I think I will do just that.

Hi Simon,

Curious as to whether you were able to find what you were after?

I ordered a X7-OS. It should arrive within the next few months. And I will try to write a review once I've had it for a few weeks.
