USB mics
I was wondering if any of you here on the forum have any suggestions for a USB condenser mic. I'm looking for something under $150 to do simple home recordings of my acoustic instrumental pieces. So far most of my google searches have come up with these 4 mics:
Blue Snowball Blue Yeti Audio Technica AT2020 MXL .007 All of these on amazon are within my price range. The Blue Yeti is rather new so there isn't too much on it in terms of user reviews. So if you have any input or suggestions that would be great. Thanks |

I have the Samson C1u that's pretty decent for the cash. I have no complaints with it, and it even came with a sample version of Cakewalk.

I also use a Samson C01U. Works pretty good. They also make a C03U now, which allows you to change the pickup pattern but is more expensive. I don't have any experience with the other ones.
