To the Rainsong knowledgeable: two questions
Any insight you might have on the following about Rainsong product development would be most appreciated:
- I take it the mid-sized WS1000 has been around for some time. What is a P-GA1000? I know it has been discontinued for a couple of years, but it appears to be the same 'grand auditorium' size as the WS1000 with similar features? - when and why did Rainsong abandon Fishman in favor of Baggs on their higher-end products? Has anyone A/B-ed both to compare usability and performance? Thanks!

If anyone else is curious, a bit of digging revealed that the 'P-GA' is a 'Projection' GA-class guitar. An earlier entry-level model. They had graphite tops only. The balance of the guitar was HPL. (thus the attractively low price on the resale market!)
I still have no idea why Rainsong switched from Fishman to Baggs on their high-end models, but stayed with Fishman on their entry level models???
