Default Guitar Hangar in Brookfield CT - Reviews?

Is anyone familiar with Guitar Hangar in Brookfield CT? I may be taking a ride up there and would like to know if you'd recommend them. Thanks very much!

I'm not familiar with them, Mike.

But I would call first. That part of the state got hit pretty hard in last week's storm. Hopefully they are ok and the power is back on. Some folks are still out.

Good suggestion, Bob, thank you. I reached out by e-mail right after the storm and their phones and power were out, hadn’t considered they still might be down. I’ll give them a call.

Thanks, I called, they are open. Perhaps this a "business corridor" and they got them back online more quickly. He said they've had power for a while. Sorry to hear about your sister!

Still looking for any reviews of this place. I think they've been around a while, a couple of Yelp reviews seem good.

I visited there a little over a year ago, when I wanted to try a few Rainsongs out after they launched the CH series (they were the closet Rainsong dealer to me). They seemed to be pretty knowledgeable, and were very easy going... no pressure at all. I ended up deciding to pass on the Rainsong.

Thanks very much. That’s why I’m headed there, as well.

I went there today. Small, decent local shop. Rick, the owner, was pleasant. We weren't able to work out a deal on the model I would have wanted, and that's OK, they don't always work out. I'd certainly recommend them for someone in the area.

Thank you for the report, Mike. I'm sure my wife will be overjoyed to learn that I can try out a CF guitar less than an hour from home

Bob, always happy to enable!! If you go, please let me know your thoughts. I played the WS models, looking to upsize from my OM. I chose the model I thought best for my needs, it would be interesting to get another's perspective. For me, it was almost a two-hour trip, and I'm glad I went, even though I left empty-handed.
