Default electric guitar stand

Good morning folks. Probably a silly question. The guitar stand I have now fits my acoustic but with the different body style doesn't hold my electric the same. Is there a guitar stand for electrics?

Fender, as expected, makes them - I own three, and with the exception of my wife's Hofner violin bass it'll hold just about any conventional solid or thin-body electric properly:

I use wall hangers, but I also have a staznd that I use String Swing hangers on. There are some of the stands that I see marketed that use the String Swing hangers, and the deep yoke style is designed to pivot to accommodate offset electric guitar head stocks.

String Swing Deep Yoke Hanger

My Ultimate GS-100 works fine for my Fender guitars as well as any other instrument, but my acoustic guitar stand with Deep Yoke String Swings will hold anything other than banjos with planetary tuners.

K&M and Hercules are my two favorites, in that order. Not cheap, but built really well and supremely ergonomic.

Hercules. I use the double one when I'm playing acoustic and electric at the same gig. I have the Christmas tree one too when the whole band is playing out. Just be sure to let the guitar hang by the neck, the way the stand is designed to be used.

Another vote for Hercules. They don’t care what I hang in them - acoustic, solid-body, hollow-body or semi.

In the interests of full disclosure, I don’t currently own a semi, but am entirely confident in including it in the list

I use this for both my Martin acoustic and my Gretsch electric:

I like Hercules stands. have two, they are solid and don't effect nitro

I have an folding Hamilton too, I've had that one forever. I think I picked that one up in the mid 80s? I wrapped all the rubber pads with felt, since those will chew into nitro finishes.

I've used one exactly like this for 20 years, wouldn't use anything else. Dirt cheap, every bit as effective as any alternative at a fraction of the cost, durable, etc.

Bingo! Too many guys are into precious over practical. As long as a stand is sturdy and nitro safe why spend big bucks unless you consider it as a piece of furniture?

I have that style and it doesn’t work very well for my Jazzmaster - ended up getting the Fender hanging style one to use instead
