Default 12-String Fingerstyle - My Hope For You

Hi All! Here's a live-take of my original song "My Hope for You." I originally recorded and released it on 6-string but have come to prefer the 12-string for it. Tuning is standard, but a half-step down. Let me know what you think! Studio version is available everywhere.

Hi Erik,
Very nice recording.
The guitar sounds fantastic.
Your guitar playing is truly impressive, very consistent and full 12 string sound.
Thank you for sharing this recording.

Hi Erik,

I really enjoyed that. I am a huge fan of 12 strings and I particularly enjoy a smaller body 12 (I play an OM myself). You're sounding great here.

The piece is very accomplished, as is the playing.

Thank you for the compliments! I find the smaller body with the 12-fret neck and short scale makes playing fingerstyle on a 12 much less daunting. I rather enjoy it and kinda think I might've preferred a 512ce to my 514ce (which I love).

The atmosphere is a bit disconcerting with the tuning and twelve strings but it has the merit of bringing an interesting touch of originality.
music is also looking for new paths and here it is a success, congratulations

I really enjoy your insight! Everyone hears and feels something different and I like hearing yours. I wrote this for my son as I was thinking about how I hope he has a better future available to him. The original recording on 6-string is more clear but the 12 string brings some urgency to the music.
