No Mike. If I cut it into sets this month Inthink it should cure for at least two years.

A go-bar deck is a piece of equipment from simple to complicated. It basically needs a fixed "roof" and then usually a radiused hollowed out base and you put your top or back in whatever radiused disc you use and then your braces are glued in. The go-bar rod material would be rods of wood or fiberglass or any somewhat flexible/ durable material slightly longer than the space between the top of the braces and the "roof" of the go-bar deck. You bend these rods and place them on the braces and the "roof" so they not only push down on the braces for glueing, but also pushes the top or back down into the radius base so you get your shape.

I have seen the bottom of the upper cabinets over a work bench used (simple) to more complexed set ups with adjustability of the top as the 4 corners are threaded bolts.

Go for it, John - and be sure to let us see the results.. I have a fair amount of woodworking experience with Hickory (yes, keep 'em sharp to avoid tearout) but have never seen anything like that, never.

Yes, exposed to sunlight, the dark colors fade - which a lot of woods do.
