I bet he could make patting his head and rubbing his belly entertaining for 5 minutes.

Drew me right in...went fromthis to the James Hill play, and ended up listening/watching a variety of musical play--sucked up 30 minutes before I was able to get away and back to life. I suppose I should say "thank you." Or maybe not.

Sounds good.
Is it a delay effect of some sort that lets him play a few layers simultaneously?

I hate to be the one to sabotage this post but he actually used a Beauregard guitar (former Somogyi-apprentice builder) for the audio in this video, which made it onto his album. The carbon fiber guitar in this video is just a visual aspect mimed to the audio. (I'm a huge Calum fan, btw... just didn't want people thinking the wrong thing, sonically.) Here's another video he did of that tune but with a Lowden, same audio:

Again, no offense intended, the song and playing are top shelf!

Interesting, thanks... It's still a CF to look at anyway.

Sounds fantastic. Just not sure why one should guitar sync with another guitar or guitar sync at all. But he does it well, both the playing and the syncing.

I must stop watching these videos. I come away very sad and feeling extremely inadequate.

Are you sure about that? Would you mind telling us the source of your information?

Leviora uses that video on their website to advertise the sound of their guitars. It would be an extraordinary deception if they were "finger-syncing" (as it were) to a recording of a different guitar.

A lot of those Candyrat label guys do that. I mean, the videos are usually just music videos, not the actual recordings.
