Thanks for the exhibitors list! I had asked John to have it but no luck so far. I’ll be there, it will be great to catch up with everyone!

Max, it will be good to see you again, finally! Last time was Woodstock, 2017 I think…

Nice to see some old friends returning and others for the first time…. It is going to be a great show… Here is the 2024 exhibitor page with links for those interested (45 luthiers, 3 guitar companies plus suppliers).

Sounds like that should be interesting! Unfortunately, I won't be attending the Artisan Show, so I won't get to hear you live. Perhaps a video of the event? Is your book close to publication? I am looking forward to reading it!

Thanks! I will video-record my talk.

I'm closing in on completing the manuscript. I've got about 400 pages now. The chapters address history, physics, acoustics, the neurology and psychology of hearing, X-ray and CT-scanning imagery, and luthier interviews.

It may be my most complex book project. I've also struggled with a few health challenges. But, yes, the end (of writing the book) is near!

I will look for both the video and the book. It sounds like a pretty monumental, and fascinating, undertaking. Speaking of monumental, I read -- in another thread -- about your recent tinnitus experiences. What a nightmare. I am wishing you the all the best!

I will be there exhibiting, looking forward to seeing many of you again, or meeting you for the first time!

Thanks, on all counts.

Cancer and COVID can provide interesting journeys. I do not recommend experiencing both simultaneously.

Glad you’re healthy! Looking forward to your book, and your presentation at the show.
