Pick pucks!

And new capo from Thalia's
- I haven't put the pick pucks on my guitars yet but they're micro suction and supposedly safe but I still think I'll try one on one of my lesser priced guitars first. I ordered them and the capo with some Christmas cash. I wouldn't normally spend that much money on a capo but I figured that's the kind of stuff you're supposed to use that cash for! I'm actually very happy with the capo though. I have a G7th Performance 3, Nashville and Shubb capo but I'm really impressed with this new capo because my guitar stays in tune much more often and it's also pretty!

Also grabbed a couple Elixir Nanowebs and the all important Humidipaks!

Thomastik-Infeld Plectrums. Expensive but I love the tone. Also went on a boutique pick buying bender. Found some I really feel improves my tone. Dragon’s heart picks in particular.

Music Nomad acoustic nut file set. Our recent Yamaha FG made it a necessity for the set-up kit. The bonus is I learned a new skill and all my guitar nuts are absolutely perfect.

Best,

Mac

I spent some D'Addario points on two sets of XS 11's, which are half-"price" right now if you spend points.

Normally I use 12's, but I started wondering if I was making myself suffer more than I should.

Also two more guitarvideos.com courses.

I’d like to learn how to do nuts and saddles eventually.

I just ordered a Music Nomad neck cradle.

New strings. I just put D'Addario Nickel Bronze strings on my Taylor 814ce, D'Addario EXP19 strings on my Epiphone Masterbilt AJ500, and D'Addario FJ17 strings on my GS Mini. I also bought some D'Addario XS 12-53, another set of Nickel Bronze, and a couple of sets of XT strings. The XS or NB strings will go on my Guild D-50 when the current XT's are ready to be changed, but I haven't decided which.

Super accurate digital callipers and an amazing electric driver for string changes.
Oh and lots of strings from Newtone to try.

I used to work in a calibration lab and appreciate high quality measuring gear.

That Starrett is nice.

Default What did you just buy for your guitar?

Nothing. Mine are already spoiled rotten and they own the house.

Music Nomad nut slot files… these things are a dream to work with.

Also, um, another guitar to keep my other ones company.
