Bruce,

Sorry to hear you have to undergo this procedure, but glad the numbers they are presenting to you are so high. Valve replacements now day and age are pretty routine for the most part although not without a lot of post-op stuff for you to go through.

I look forward to your next build whenever that may be!!!!

Sincerely, Tom

I’ve probably it before and I’ll probably say it again, but thank you all for your support. It actually makes a difference in how I feel.

Oh and by the way separate from my email, repeat after me: Pain mgmt consult, epidural, at least while you're in the icu for the first 36h. Bring chapstick and one of those airline neck pillows.

Bruce, So sorry to hear about this stumbling block but modern medical procedures have come a long way since your Lotus was built. Consider your procedure akin to a routine Ducati oil change in the day and life of a skilled surgeon. FWIW, you will be in our prayers my friend!

Hi Bruce,
As I was getting ready to gush over this beautiful guitar, I caught up with your recent medical news. I wish you a successful procedure and complete and speedy recovery. A former colleague of mine just went through a similar procedure at almost 80 years old and is recovering.

Your AGF compatriots are rooting for you!

Best,
Jayne

I'll be patiently waiting till you get well enough to hack away at a new neck, maybe at a slower pace at first. You have been and continue to be an inspiration to me. The 8 or more weeks recovery might be the hardest for a person that is used to doing things. I will be wishing you well every day I visit these pages until you get your strength back to enjoy the life you have built for yourself.
