Default Bose L1 Pro8 Acoustic Guitar Demo - First Impressions

Nice video of a guy obviously over the moon with his new Bose Pro8.

I am gigging at a Vineyard patio on Valentines Day. I will give it another real-world gig test on a windy day according to the Forecast. Sigh

Looking forward to your update, especially outdoors. Sounds like a good day for you to work in a windscreen test too.

Used the Pro8 on 2 gigs now. Really impressed with the sound, much better than my old L1 Compact. I've yet to need to turn it up past about 10 o'clock yet.

My grip/concern is that array connector. One time when we assembled it we heard no sound from the array and had to tap it down on the sub to get sound out... even though it seemed set on correctly... time will tell if this becomes a constant concern.

Baffles me how they could do such a poor job engineering the connection.

Isn't it the same connector they've been using all along? I'm thinking it might be too tight where they lock together and if they're also hard to pull apart that could confirm it.

I think the connector is similar to what I had on the L1 Compact, but the Pro8 is definitely harder to pull apart.

What I was thinking was that the plastic column is binding like it always did on my JBL Eon One setup and not the connector itself.
