God knows I want to commission another...but not enough to sell my Contreras to pay for it. Reality is likely that one day in the future I will have a stockpile of money just waiting to grab that "perfect" used Olson SJ that comes up for sale |

Beautiful piece of music....
Guitar's not too shabby either... |

I wouldn't mind getting my hands on a gently used Parlor. The Podium also had a mint SJ from the 90s at a really good price -- but these don't show up very often (and sell quickly when they do)... |

Yes -- very quickly. Two of them actually. Both mint and priced at around $10K.

Anyone ever seen/played a maple Olson?

There's a couple on Jim's site (in the recently sold pages).
I was also told Laurence Juber commissioned one back in the days but has since sold it. |

Ah, fun. Didn't realize LJ had an Olson at some point.

Hi Mau,
How nice to hear another of your compositions! And you photos look absolutely stunning! - Glenn |

Just saying... the long term value of an Olson is cedar top with rosewood BACK AND SIDES...I believe anything other than that will not have the same long term value. If you are not concerned about that aspect of it, then go for it
