Smile Tribute to Tool - Original Prog rock On Nylon strings

Hey guys,
I just thought I'd share a song we released not long ago, it's little tribute to Tool, can you tell?
Enjoy

Hey, as a huge Tool fan, I really enjoyed that. Thanks.

Also 321 "likes" (including mine) without a single dislike is also rare; there are usually some unappreciative souls out there in YouTube land.

Cheers,
Steve

Thanks Steve, yeah Tool fans can get a little picky about this sort of thing, I guess we're part of that club so in a way it helped us getting the song to that "non offensive" level.

Music video was an absolute blast to work on, but so much editing, computer nearly had a meltdown!!

Love it Alex, been viewing the Pneuma clip filmed from Danny Carey's drumset as a weekly fix for months now & recognised the riff immediately. You've done great work with it & kudos for bringing attention to the cause as well.

Exclamation be warned it is different - More crazy nylon string playing.

So since you guys like my last video here's a recent one playing a more complex tune. Watch till the end of the song, the lead/rhythm swap is awesome, that's the craziest part. Here is the live version of "Point Of No Return" from my duo, Opal Ocean
