Default jazz players on nylon

Any jazz or blues players here who have switched to, or play, nylon exclusively?

Default Pat Metheny...

Most of his acoustic performances are done on nylon strung guitars, usually Manzers. I've hear all his releases, and only "A Map of the World," a film score, features the sound of steel strings. And the baritone may have steel, but his primary unplugged sound is from nylon.

The late Joe Pass recorded a beautiful album, "Songs for Ellen", on his Ramirez classical guitar.

I’ve been working on chord-melody playing almost exclusively for the last several years, and I play Fingerstyle on nylon-strings.

The classic guitar just seems more amenable to the style, and you don’t have to jump through hoops with finger picks, artificial nails, or the like.

Earl Klugh is one my favorite jazz guitarists. He has been playing nylon strings for decades. I think Al Stewart's former sidekick and now smooth jazzer Peter White started out playing nylon string Ovation guitars.

"Unforgettable" album was also on nylon string.
