Guitar Identification
Hi Everyone,
I recently purchased a classical guitar from an auction and wondered if anyone knew who the maker was, I cannot make out the signature on the label apart from the date which is August Eleven 1975, its sounds nice and has a low action, just wondered if it was a vintage Japanese classical Guitar. Thanks, Andrew Last edited by andreww127; 12-15-2020 at 01:44 AM. |

The label is handmade and overtop another label. There's nothing about the writing and the inexact border that is Japanese. I wonder what that side wood is.

Doesn't look Japanese to me. It looks Swedish (such as Goya or Levin) or perhaps German.

I would be tempted to attempt a look at the original label.
The side wood could be maple. |

Ive removed the top label and underneath there is a label with KC 333 on it, its a 1970's kay guitar from East Germany, thanks for the help.
