I would be all for a "nylon string guitar" subforum. I think this site would offer something unique, and it could be a one stop shop for me. I like the people here and I wouldn't have to go elsewhere for my nylon discussion needs.

+1 A nylon section would be great.
Delcamp is nice too. If you can read Portuguese , or translate it anyway, we have a high standards forum on classical guitar in Brazil: www.violao.org A lot of great knowledge players, teachers and luthiers. And a specific Braziliam Guitar music forum, that has a section in english: www.brazilianguitar.net |

I agree at having a nylon string guitar section. Hey, a classical guitar is, first and foremost, an acoustic guitar!
And the friendliness of the AGF members is pretty hard to beat. Sure, there are other guitar forums, but IMO, this forum is one of the better ones out there!

+1. I find that Delcamp is a bit too snobbish about classical guitars and they force participation or you lose certain privileges over there. I'd look forward to a classical guitar adjunct to this fine site.

I'd like a more focused section for nylon string guitars, as well. I split my time between steel strings and nylon strings, and love both. I too think it probably shouldn't be "classical" as it narrows the field too much, since a lot of players don't play classical pieces on classical guitars, and cross-overs and acoustic/electric nylon string guitars aren't classical guitars. "Nylon Stringed Guitars" is more appropriate for this forum, I think.
