Here's the reverse ORTF setup on treble side with an re-arrangement of the acoustic panels and I swapped out the Rode NT5 for a MXL 991. To my ears this "un-mastered" track doesn't sound as tinny. Same guitar, the McIlroy A20.

I'll have to see what I can do to use my LDC mics, which to me are warmer sounding. I'd really like to get a matched pair of SDC mics ($500-$600 for the pair) that have a good warm tone as my LDCs do).
