A batch of pictures from my finisher, always is a good way to start the day.
The OM Granadillo have a Satin finish (semi matte), Gloss for the OM Pao Ferro. A couple of coats needs to be applied on both instruments, but it's near from completion!

"Here comes the shapes, tudutuduuu" - Georges Harrison
Yes, I am a freak in terms of cleanliness. When I am building a guitar, I always give my best. at the maximum of my capacities. I am trying to make it as neat as possible, inside & outside the instrument. When you are looking inside my guitars, if the first thing you think is "oh wow, it looks like a great appartment! I could live inside it!"... I reached my goal!

People who know me, are well awared that I am an eternal unsatisfied person. I always want to reach the highest level, to give everything I am capable about as human... but especially, in my luthiery.
This OM, Pao Ferro & Bearclaw Sitka Spruce, finally sing. I should admit, that this is a Feather in terms of weight, and bomb sonically speaking. I am really satisfied of this one. It have the "Paldacci Touch": very well Balanced, Those special & Shiny trebles to die for, strong Bass & very sweet mids! It is hard to tell about the projection, but Holy Molly... it is Loud! Pao Ferro, is such a great tonewood! I installed a K&K Pure Mini this morning, and she left the shop to meet her customer, who has been incredibly patient especially those last weeks. It was a touchy situation, and Bill was incredibly kind & understanding. The weight of this beauty is 4.49 lbs, including the K&K and Tuners. In pure weight, we are beetween 3.53 lbs & 3.75 lbs. Light as a feather.

One dilemma a lot of builders have, is to show their bracings... or not.
Personally, I would think that it depends about the kind of bracing I've built for a guitar. I can't say that I revolutionned luherie with my way of building. I am not like Casimi Guitars, Joel Michaud, or Ervin Somogyi's apprentices. So, I don't mind to show the way I build my guitars, if It help to show the care I bring to my guitarbuilding. By the way, my sound comes from the way I calibrate & voice my pieces, it is basically impossible to build two identical guitars, even for me. Well, the label on the top, is easy To reproduce though It take me hours to make the best joints possible on my pieces, and to clean everything's up, but I love to have pristine surfaces inside & outside my instruments! The entire top is assembled with Bjorn Hot Hide Glue 320g High Clear, except the X, Fingerboard & Bridge plates (Titebond original). I really love to work with those glues, especially HHG!
