Tom, et al, leave those adjustments to us.
When you bring it back in for its 100,000 note checkup, we'll tweak those for optimum performance. Steve |

Yes, I understand, best left to the professionals. I can't find the instructions anyway and I certainly don't want to tweak it the wrong way and end up messing up the sound....Kathy says it has done nothing but rain in SA for almost the last 2 weeks, more than up north for sure. How about you easterners?

Mind you, I'm not complaining. Usually, August is rather dry/hot down here. So now we're telling folks, yes it's hot. But it's a wet heat. Steve |

Congrats Jim! The Kinnairds have created a real beauty. I had the honor to audition Tom's SJ (which is phenomenal) and if yours is being compared I would think a permanent smile is inbound. Haven't heard any discussion of the aroma. How is that Panamanian stuff as aroma therapy for the player?

Well Guatemalan Rosewood is by far my favorite smell in the shop (D. tucarensis). It smells like a sweet cinnamon candy to my nostrils. This set of Panamanian is listed- and double checked through our supplier - as D. tucarensis. It has a very similar smell but not quite as bold as the Guatemalan I've worked with. Combined with the finish and the case glue, I think Jim will enjoy that first waft every time he pulls it out.

Here's some final pics before this goes out next week.
Yes I captured myself in the last shot. Oh well. It's prettier than that in real life. |

We are too! Usually sun in the Texas summer is not an issue, but virtually every day for the last three weeks has brought some kind of rain. It's felt much more tropical around here lately. This was the first day the humidity was low enough to risk 5 minutes out of doors to snap a few quick pics.

Well, it was NGD yesterday, and about all I can say for the moment is that this little OM is one "killer" guitar! It has great tone, volume, and it works very well for both fingerstyle and flat picking......just what I was hoping to achieve! Kudos goes out to Steve and Ryan for building such a fine instrument! Photos and perhaps a clip or two to follow when time allows.....
A special thanks goes out to the two of you at Kinnaird West! |

Glad you're enjoying it, Jim. You got a blue pin on the map of fame earlier today.
Play your OM in good health! Steve |
