Default The Name of Your Band/Duo

I have been playing in a duo for about 7 years now. At times we have been booked and introduced by our last names Foley & Hamlin..almost sounds like a Law firm! Then there have been places that have just called us by our first names, Bill & Tim. We both hated that. Well after a long search for a name we chose to call ourselves after his sisters farm. So we are now the Stony Hollow Band. It has that 70s feel to it (which is a lot of what we play).

So what are some of the names of the bands and duos you ladies and gentelmen have been in?

If I'm talking to friends it's ''Larry and Mark'' and if Mark is talking it's ''Mark and Larry''

Our team at church is the ''End of the meeting team.''

Colonel Sanders and the 11 Herbs and Spices was my favorite. Have also performed as Chris and the Sleeping Beekeepers, Halotosis and Alopecia, The Loofah Brothers, Chris Estes and Friends and once as Free Beer and Pizza (but they actually had free beer and pizza at this gig)

There were three of us did some Bluegrass style stuff for a Church service -- we quickly became known as the Measly Brothers.

My duo went through the name thing too, especially after being introduced at our first gig, before we had a name, by just our first names, "Sean and Ron." Boy, did THAT sound goofy. So we went with -- ta-da! -- our last names and have been known ever since as Lewis/Lane (NOT "Lewis AND Lane" which people tend to do... just Lewis/Lane). Nice and simple --although some of the above names are sure great. So far we're good with it.

Had an acoustic trio a few years back. We were known as The Weasels.
I still have a couple of t-shirts that we sold at gigs with a cartoon weasel playing a six string acoustic and doing the up and down eye brow thing.
