2018 Caton Sullivan

Hello Everybody. I had a client call me with some bad news a few weeks ago and without getting into details and personal issues, I ended up agreeing to help him out and purchase an old commision from him. As you can imagine I am in no need of one of my own builds, so I am selling it.

This is a 2018 Sullivan model. It has a black Sitka top on Curly Chechen. Im working on finding build pictures of this guitar. When I find them I will send them to the buyer. It is also a "Deep Body". The upper bout is 1/8" deeper at the neck block. The tail block depth is standard. This does lend a bit more low end and punchyness that is not always a charicteristic sound to this size guitar. Having the deep body and the Sitka top makes this guitar handel a pick VERY well if needed. It nearly competes with a Dread...Nearly... The entire guitar vibratres against your body when it is played. It really sounds wonderful.

In the words of the former owner, "It has seen more coffee shops than a 90s Portland hipster." It has been well used and well taked care of. It does have some road wear but mostly nice and shinny. There is no buckel rash and the owner was a fingerstyle player, so there is no pick wear on the top.

I personly did a Level/Crown/Polish on it when it came in, I polished the body and set it up. Ive had it in my shop for 3 weeks now to make sure it is holding tune and there are no issues. Everything is looking good and I will provide a 3 month warranty to the buyer, that will cover any unforseen repairs if needed (it wont be needed). The owner kept the Visesnut case to sell separatly, but I have a TKL hard case that is basicaly new that I will send it in. I will also send a Caton Guitars T-shirt to boot.

I will let this go for $4500 OBO.

Many on here know me and my instruments. This is a serious instrumets that was built by a profesional builder. So please be a serious and professional buyer if you contact me. Im not in the habbit of offering used guitars to my dealers and would like this to go directly to a new home.
