Default "Stuck on You" by Lionel Richie (cover)

This is my cover of Lionel Richie's "Stuck on You" from his 1983 album "Can't Slow Down". The guitar is my Gerald Sheppard GA Ave Maria.

Thanks for listening! Stay well out there!

Very well done, Glenn. Boy, didn't that guy put out some hits?! That's a wonderful tune on an outstanding album. Have you ever done, "Hello"?

I always enjoy hearing that Sheppard. Great tone. Thanks very much for sharing.

Great job on a favorite of mine, Glenn! Lionel was a master at writing catchy songs.

Hi Kerbie,

Thank you taking time to listen and comment! Lionel Richie did pump out a lot of hits in the 80's. He had a great feel for this stuff! I'm glad you thought this came out okay!

I did do "Hello" in the past. It was a while ago and you would very likely have a hard time remembering that far back.

I hope all is well for you Kerbie!

Hi Marty,

Thanks so much for watching and taking time to comment!

If I remember correctly, I think it was you who suggested "Stuck on You" way back when I put up Lionel Richie's song, "Hello," here in the AGF's "Show & Tell" section. You mentioned that you routinely did this song live in your performances! This song has been on my list for quite a while, and I only just got to it now!

I hope all is well for you Marty! Stay safe!

- Glenn

That's funny, Glenn... I really did think you had done that tune in the past. But I looked at your channel and didn't see it, so I decided I was wrong. Thanks!

Yep! I haven’t played it in a while. May have to at my next gig!

Enjoy your Independence Day weekend!

Glenn you knocked it out of the park again...thanks for posting it. Stay safe at home my friend.

My band plays that song but we adapted it from the version Hawaiian style as played by Hawaiian artest...Ekolu. If you have the time you might enjoy a different take on a great song.

Thank you Jack!

I appreciate your comments and feedback! I will go check out that Hawaiian style version of "Stuck on You" as played by Ekolu. Thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks for taking time to comment Jack! Stay well out there!

Glenn, once again I love how smoothly you move in and out of your head voice.

Thank you JW!

How kind of you! I appreciate your taking time to watch and to provide such encouragement! I appreciate your thoughts and observations!

I feel very fortunate that I can still sing at my age (72). I'm not sure why but I have tried to take care of my ears and my voice.

I hope all is well for you!

Very well done. Never thought I would hear a classic song like this by Lionel Ritchie played here. Great job, I grew up listening to Lionel both his solo stuff and Commodore and this a wonderful tribute that nails the spirit of the song.

Thank you Grant!

How very nice of you to take the time to watch and comment! I remember Lionel Richie's work with the Commodores! He really had a great career in the music business! And he had a good voice, a great feel for music, and he knew how to write a hit song!

Take care and stay safe out there Grant!
