Lol. Knee surgery went well, won't be able to walk for about 6 weeks, but that leaves more room for playing!

I've had my custom Thompson DMA since last September. It's a fabulous guitar.
I've also had 4 bourgeois guitars in the last 15 years or so, including a one of a kind D150. Dana builds wonderful guitars but I can honestly say I wouldn't trade the Thompson for one of them.

I agree completely, although this Bourgeois is pretty special, its something about the Thompson it sounds like nothing else Ive ever played.

I did play one other DEIA in standard configuration (the one I bought has the long saddle) that was also very nice. From that small sample, they were very consistent. I also played a DMA for a short bit at the store (was already sold), very nice tone, but was looking for the rosewood over tones.
