Yeah that’s more or less what I’m aiming for. It’s not going to be a man cave as if exclusive to me, but more of a entertainment/music studio/workout room.

With just the two of us in 1600 sqft, we have a TON of space so I don't feel like I need a Man Cave. We do have what I call a "den" that is the music room, home office, and one of my wife's closets.

My wife has the "Bead Room." She is a very talented creator. I have a closet that is size appropriate for my talent level.

You are probably the only one here to have a jar of eyes and ears in your space

For the mice, I presume?

I was in my friend's man cave not long ago and noticed
a box of rubber baby buggy bumpers...

I've been working on my motorcycles on a dirt floor
in a pole barn for 15 years, if I don't kill myself first,
I should have an awesome man cave soon ...

We have a 3 bedroom home. My wife loves to lay in bed and watch TV, which I hate. So she sleeps in the other bedroom, while bedroom 3 is my office/guitar room.

Cheers to this. "Den" sounds so much classier and like a place I would enjoy spending my free time. "Man cave" makes me want to avoid that area. Seems cold and alone. Music should be warm and inviting!

I have a spare bedroom that I use to store guitars and all of my fly tying materials and fishing gear...mainly to keep the dog and 3 cats out of there and to have a small space for good humidification in winter. My wife calls it "my office". I call it the "fishing room".

The other startup recording gear thread got me digging deeper in my gear stash. What you guys think of this?

Last time I used it was in 2013. I think I forgot how to set it up! I remember the process being a pain.

My last two houses had the man cave in the basement. Man cave in one large rec room and the guitar room next to it. In my new house I decided to move both to the main floor. Still looks the same but there's more light than a basement.

Lots of jerseys hanging on my 'man cave' walls. Mostly NHL but a few Red Sox and Patriots jerseys too.

My wife and I had a new home built about three years ago. As I was modifying the blueprints for things we wanted changed, I added a room. The house would have had a large inside corner in the rear, so I just moved the walls out to make it a square.

Voila! I have a 12x17 room that wasn't supposed to be there. It's my guitar room with just a small desk & PC for online lessons.

She has her piano/accordion room as well as a craft room (we're empty nesters) so I also took one of the two guest rooms. The only guests we ever have are our oldest son and his wife that live in Atlanta. So the other room was unused. Now it has my office furniture in there.

So I guess I have a "man cave" and an office. And no complaints.

Wow that’s an amazing room you have there!
