What Electric Guitar Type Should Every Electric Guitarist Own?

Ive had teles and strats and a guy offered to let me use his LP. Having those experiences I voted for strats. I love the feel, look and sound of them. I would never own an LP. A tele isnt versitile enough, it has that dead neck pickup and an icepick bridge pickup, what a dog.
