Well, except for the modern packaging...
And those fake torn up poor peoples jeans.
And maybe the tailgaters...
Don't get me going again on those doggie poop bag non-picker-uppers...

Subordinates who think that your insistence that things are done correctly is your "Pet Peeve."

NO, just do it right!

Gives Winnie the Poo(h) a whole new meaning.

As for those torn up jeans, I remember when I first got into engineering, we had to wear suits. Fortunately, for me that only lasted a few years before jeans and shirts became the norm after "dress down Fridays". We have yet to get to the torn jeans though.

My pet peeves...smoking, people that interrupt and I’m sure y’all will love this one....guitarists that leave their tuner and capo attached to their headstock.

To wit: While in the backyard on a late fall day, I happened to hear an air blower blowing leaves in the general vicinity. Went back inside and grabbed my guitar with inspired enthusiasm when I suspected that the continuous drone of that blower was "tuned" perfectly to low G.

Indeed, that air blower was "tuned" perfectly to low G on the guitar.

Improvised on the guitar some music to the air blower's hum.

Called it: "Air Blower On G String." All inspired by that "bach"yard encounter.

Like, people who like, use the word like, like every other word.
I don't like that.

1. People who think a leaf blower is a useful tool.
2. Neighbors who run their diesel truck in the driveway at 6am. For an hour.
3. ISPs & cell providers who claim "unlimited" anything.

Now get off my lawn.

I'm an older guy, so have a great many of the agitations mentioned previously. Living in the country, my limited human interaction (especially the past few months), makes many of these things less irritating. However, spending extra money for ripped/torn jeans does bother me - how about doing some actual hard work and earning those holes and rips.

Yep, funny movie. What are the odds of moving cross country to be next to the crazy relative of the crazy neighbor you left behind. Arlo used to have a nice Saab too. Appreciate the post!

I have one too, and I use it about twice a year with due respect to my own ears. I've never understood the logic of blowing dust from point A to point B, and breathing said dust and exhaust in between. It should be law that commercial leaf blower operators not be allowed to wear ear protection.
Brooms are better for our spines.

I’d like to see the phrase “first world problem” catch Covid 19 and die.
