I believe the Traditional carve is based on the VN neck with slight variation to the taper and rounded off edges. Also they modified the Traditional neck after the initial run. It's not as big as it is used to be. Though I feel like the neck on my 001-14T is a little fuller than that on my 01T.

thanks! I have actually always preferred the 00 to all others. I've owned a '56 00-18 and a '49 00-18 shadetop in the past. My main acoustic has been my single 0 from Collings. So I was thrilled when Collings FINALLY built a 14 fret 00.

Again, comparable low but more low mids, more relaxed upper mids. At least to my ears.
