Hi folks ... time to bore you with yet another build thread! I've promised myself that I'll be spending more time at the bench and less on the computer, so this will be my last build thread for 2018! This one will be my take on a slope shouldered dreadnought ... my model "Modern Slope 1" or MS-1. Here's the specs and a couple of shots of the wood before I start the build process.

Neck Shape: Modified V
Neck Inlay: Wren on 5th
Peghead Shape: Taj Mahal
Peghead Veneer: Madagascar
Tuners: Waverly
String Gauge: 12-53
Build Diary Book: yes

Never ever been bored by your build threads. Awesome selection of woods, especially that Madi. I look forward to seeing your take on a slope shoulder dred.

Thanks Kevin! I bought this Madagascar a decade and a half ago at an early Montreal Guitar Show from one of the Spanish wood suppliers (Madinter? Maderas Barber?).

I think we all love seeing your work, David. No apology needed, except for not showing up!
Agree with the others, that Madi is really nice.
