Default Olympus LS-20M audio/video recorder: Opinions?

I'm looking for a simple relatively inexpensive device to help me record my practice at home and performances at open mics, as well as snatch the occasional snippets from concerts.

Is the Olympus LS-20M a good, well-rounded piece of equipment for these various purposes?

What are Pros vs Cons for what I want it to do ???

I am bumping this up to see if anyone is using this with a Mac or pc to capture video and audio. I have had one in a drawer for about a year and would like to start using it! It sounds like I need apogee or garage band on our PC, as I don't think the files would be easy to work with on my iPad, where anytune pro and garage band are currently employed.

I have the LS-20M which I take on my trips out of town when I'm doing gigs, open mics and showcases. It does quite well for its size and portability. I have a little tripod that I use to put it on a table while I play. Here's a video:

I've got one and use it all the time. Mostly I use it to take mixing-board recordings of the band's practices. I pull later the audio file (WAV) off to a PC into Audacity to split up the songs.

I've used the onboard mics and video occasionally and have no problems with it.

Thank you for the response. When I downloaded the video originally ( over a year ago) to the pc, the sound file did not work.

Nick
