Congrats on your build, JR.
The McKnights that I played were terrific sounding instruments. I've always loved the looks of maple but find the tone of other woods to be more versatile. Doubling the back and sides is such a fantastic idea! |

JR had requested a much lighter finish with a honey burst. So...don't freak out because it will NOT be this dark. I just add a thinned down stain so it penetrates the curl and makes it pop under a much [lighter] finish. I promise
