My Omega Baritone Build Thread
I commissioned my Omega Baritone a while back and I just thought I'd start a thread on my build.
here are the specs of my baritone: MJ body with venetian cutaway braz back and sides, carpathian top, lion of judah inlay, 5 pc neck with no rear veneer so 5 pc goes all the way up on back, neck will be Macassar ebony/cocobolo/ebony/cocobolo/macassar front veneer macassar ebony, cocobolo binding cocobolo and macassar ebony rosette. 28 inch scale tuned down to low B nut 1 13/16th I'm really excited about this one. the Brazilian is dark and very unique. the bright red cocobolo bindings and accents in the neck and rosette will be very visually striking in contrast with the dark brazilian. here are some starter pics:

I've seen this in your sig for a while, and have been waiting for this thread to start Looking forward to watching this one grow!
The Lion of Ludah inlay sounds awesome - will that be on the fretboard?

the build was going, but then put on hold with some custom woods I chose for the neck. if you remember my friend's cocobolo OM omega, he had a cocobolo 5 pc neck. I had the same thing going for this one, but my wood was bad but now we are doing something creative with Macassar

That guitar is going to be awesome!!! Congrats
I know first hand that Baritone acoustics are song writing machines!!! The 28" scale is a good one!

Now THAT is an awesome inlay!
If it's got that inlay you ought to name it "Aslan" |
