if structural changes are out then how about a trim and rosette with a santa fe or classical theme? If that doesn't ring true, anyone for a Celtic Knot? Can we tinge the surface green?

Are you thinking of something like this?

I think currently only Emerald does colors in this manner. Their deep burgundy red is outstanding.

Deep as the bass is on my H DR-1100 N2, there are times when fingerpicking that I 'reach' for more... (I use only a bit of nail normally).

I can see where using a heavy hand might rattle things a bit...it's just so responsive to a light touch as well that I seldom do that.

Well... it seems the shark inlays (or ANY inlays) are a long way off on the Shorty. But my offer still stands... I would LOVE a Shorty Limited...

1. FT Finish
2. Top drawer electronics
3. Colored Rosette (Red, Blue... or Green)
4. Any other cool cosmetic features

My CC is in hand!

Perhaps it's time to think about an AGF exclusive Rainsong. Keep the ideas coming and I will talk to Ashvin after the new years weekend.

Maybe I'll pressure him some at NAMM (I am going with a RainSong Badge on so I best not be too pushy).

Ted,

If this were to happen with the Shorty... what kind of time frame would we be looking at?

Thank you.

It will depend on the specs and the timing but I'm guessing 8-10 weeks at the most.
