Martin 000-18 GE (1937) 2012 SOLD
https://reverb.com/item/33864136-mar...firmation=true
Selling my 000-18GE to fund another guitar acquisition. My rule is one in / one out. This is my second go around with a 000-18GE and it is a great one. Have to say the GE run is consistently excellent based on the several I have played. The guitar was built in 2012. It has been played and babied. The guitar has really opened up. It has big tone and covers strumming, flat and finger picking extremely well. There is a lot of headroom.... and it is loud. The guitar is in very good + + condition but does evidence play modest wear. There are swirls, pick marks and some small indentations. Nothing through the finish.... and most you have to look closely in the light to discover. It is well polished and the fretboard is regularly treated. There is one small indentation on the back of the neck which I don’t feel when playing. The neck is straight. There is tiny bit of fretwear on the B string in the cowboy area... but nothing needing attention. The saddle has plenty of height to adjust. The guitar stays in tune and intonation is spot on. The guitar has been properly humidified, kept in its case, and has no odor other than wood. I have lots of pictures I can send you.... just send me your email in a PM and I will get them off to you. I don’t really know how to post pix here. The price is $old plus shipping CONUS only. I am in the Lehigh Valley of Eastern PA if you want to do a local pickup. I have top ratings on both TGP and Reverb if you need references. This is really a terrific example of this great Martin model. Please be sure I will answer all questions and can do a phone chat if you would like. Thanks for looking, stay safe, and best always. Last edited by Kelly77; 05-30-2020 at 08:39 PM. |

My 000-18GE is the best sounding guitar i've ever played. It's also very versatile -- sounds great both fingerstyle and strumming.

Yes... a Modified V. Very comfortable for me. The guitar is a great example of this model. I believe it is priced reasonably. That’s my opinion of course!
