I'll be following your build with interest, Brad.
I built my first archtop last year, a 17" of similar materials.

Man, I don't remember my archtop build progressing this fast!
The build looks great so far Brad, and it's always interesting to see other builder's shop setups and jigs.
I may have a question for you if we get to see the glue-up of your neck joint and how you clamp it. It's the only area of my build that gave me grief.

The build is looking great Brad.

You’ve posted that Lancelot carver in the past. That thing scares me.

Actually I’m fitting the neck right now and I’m about to post some photos of it.

As a knife maker once said to me “this business can be semi-dangerous”
But seriously As with any power tool you have to remain Vigilant.
Personally I find the pin router or router table more dangerous than the Lancelot carver.

Getting ready to glue the neck to the body. This is my most crucial part of the whole process and I really take my time doing it. There’s a lot of geometry that has to line up.
I probably spend anywhere between 3 to 4 hours just getting this joint perfect before I glue it.
