Martin Retros
Put the Martin Retro strings 13s on my 38 Gibson L5, nice strings, although the D Addario NB`s are pretty much the same...

Are they? If so that's good to know; my local shop doesn't have the Martins but carries the D'Addarios. I have a set of the NB .12's on my '37 L7 now, and am going to try the .13s next string change.

I put Martin retros on my guitars because apparently monel strings balance well with old DeArmond pickups, but am ready to try new things as well. Will check out DA New Balance!

My Campellone Special loves 12's, especially Martin Retros. Maybe 13's would be even better!

Usually have Martin Retro 0.013 on my Loar LH 700, works well IMHO. Currently though I've got some flatwounds on and like them even better.
